Beauvoir Summer’s Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program combines a series of workshops and hands-on experiences that develop necessary skills for capable and confident counselors. Designed for teenagers 13 to 15 years old, our program is a summer-long experience with the option to choose which session(s) fit your families summer plans.
Each day begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:30pm with lunch provided. Mornings are dedicated to workshops, in which, a new focus every session permits the opportunity for CITs to learn about safety procedures, leadership, childcare training, CPR, and First Aid with leaders in our community. Afternoons are then spent participating in camp activities such as arts & crafts, sports, games, and music in their assigned camp cohort. Support and encouragement from our Lead and Assistant Counselors fosters reflection and responsibility through a CIT’s newfound skills and experiences.
Registration for the CIT program will be Tuesday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m.
We look forward to having you join us this summer!
