2022 Camps
After Camp Care
The After Beauvoir Center (ABC) offers extended day services to camp families. The principal goal of ABC is to provide a safe, stimulating and relaxed environment for Beauvoir Summer camp children whose parents regularly require child-care services before and after the camp day.
Extended camp care is available after camp from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. During this time, children will enjoy a more relaxed program including outdoor play, snack, indoor arts and crafts, and other games. Time is also devoted to quiet relaxation and group activities. After care will be $450 for Sessions 1 &2 (9 days), and $500 for Session 3 (10 days). Pre-registration is required and a drop-in option cannot be accommodated during the summer camp. Please note that there is limited space in our after care program.
One hour Summer Enrichment courses will be offered from 3:30-4:30! All registered families will receive the Summer Enrichment Packet in May 2022 with information on how to sign up for these classes.
After Beauvoir Camp Program
Times: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The After Beauvoir Camp (ABC) Program is offered for children who
need supervision after 3:00 p.m. The hours for this program are 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and families must register prior to using this service. A drop-in or day-to-day option is not available. Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including outdoor play on the Beauvoir Outdoors play space, arts and crafts, music and games, as well as quality unstructured time to hang out with friends and reflect on the camp day. A healthy afternoon snack will also be provided. We do ask that parents respect the hours of the program when picking up their campers.
Late Pick Up Charges
We ask that you please respect the 5:00 p.m. pick up time. Late fees will be assessed at a flat rate of $25.00 for check outs of 5:01-5:10p.m. For check outs of 5:11p.m. and after, an addition $5.00 a minute per family will be assessed. Chronic tardiness will result in the termination of your use of the Extended Day Program, which is non-refundable.

Beauvoir Summer is located at Beauvoir, the National Cathedral Elementary School, on the 60-acre Cathedral Close in Washington, DC. Beauvoir is a coeducational Pre-Kindergarten through Third Grade school carefully designed for young learners.
