Dear Parents, Past Campers, Potential Campers and Friends,
As we are surrounded by the beauty of the changing seasons outside it reminds me of the exciting changes the Beauvoir Summer Program has in store for the upcoming summer. In an effort to more effectively meet the needs of our summer families Beauvoir is excited to offer not only brand new camps, but also a brand new way to schedule your summer. With the addition of academic half day camps in the morning and half day general summer camps in the afternoon families have more options than ever when it comes to setting their summer schedule. New academic camps can really help students avoid the “summer slip” that can occur when school is not in session by providing a focused, learning environment for its campers. These morning camps can be paired with fun and exciting afternoon camps for those campers who would like to round out their day with play based activities. Below are some of the highlights of these new additions to our summer program:
New half day academic camps in the morning that focus solely on one topic, including:
• Math
• Spanish
• Mandarin
• French
• New half day general summer camps in the afternoon that focus on play and adventure
With all of these new and exciting changes taking place there are some things that have not changed. For over 60 years the Beauvoir Summer Program, located at Beauvoir, the National Cathedral Elementary School, has been offering quality summer programming for the early learner. This year the seven week program will begin on June 18th and run through the week of July 30th. Beauvoir has found a successful recipe for creating a safe, fun and nurturing learning environment that offers many avenues of exploration for young children. Of course our popular swim program is still in place to offer our campers a chance to learn how to swim under the watchful eyes of our swim instructors and lifeguards, as well as have some summer fun in the pool! Our unwavering commitment to provide your child with a safe, fun and educational summer camp experience is still our number one goal, and with these wonderful additions to our summer program we are better equipped than ever to do just that.

How Do I Register?
We will offer online registration for summer camp. This registration will be live in late January, so be sure to check back often! A pdf will be located on Beauvoir’s website for those who wish to complete a hard copy registration.
